My journey into digital marketing was unexpected—I didn’t always plan to enter the digital world. I began as a Marketing Analyst in India, focusing primarily on traditional marketing. However, as I delved deeper into the role, I became increasingly curious about the digital side of the field. I saw how data, creativity, and technology could merge to create more compelling, interactive stories. That’s when I got hooked. It wasn’t just about selling products anymore—it became about crafting experiences that genuinely resonated with people.


I took the plunge into digital marketing when I joined Summachar, an online media house in India, as a Digital Marketing Intern. This role marked a pivotal moment in my career. No longer working behind the scenes, I became actively involved in creating and implementing strategies that made a tangible impact. Each campaign brought fresh lessons, from increasing Instagram engagement to improving click-through rates on news carousels.


However, I wanted to push my boundaries further, so I decided to move to Canada to pursue a post-graduate degree in Digital and Content Marketing at York University. This move wasn’t just a geographical shift—it was a professional evolution. At York, I explored new dimensions of digital marketing, and my internship at ICC Immigration broadened my perspective by exposing me to marketing in a completely new environment. Working in a different country with a new market helped me grasp the global potential of digital marketing in ways I hadn’t previously considered.


Alongside my professional growth, one constant love has always been movies. Films from around the world have shown me that storytelling transcends boundaries, whether through a lens or a digital platform. My passion for storytelling evolved from a hobby into a core aspect of my marketing approach. To me, digital marketing is a form of storytelling. I use data to understand the audience and creativity to engage them—much like how films use visuals and emotions to connect with viewers.


Today, I’m passionate about blending my love for storytelling with my expertise in digital marketing and data analytics. Whether I’m crafting a blog that resonates with readers or analyzing SEO performance to refine content strategies, I view every campaign as an opportunity to tell a story. My journey has taken me from India to Canada, from traditional marketing to the digital realm, and from analyzing numbers to creating narratives. I’m excited to see where this fusion of creativity and data will lead me next.
